I graduated from High School in 1984. Therefore, the soundtrack to my high school and college years is full of 80’s music. And there was a lot of great music in the 80’s, but unfortunately some of it have gotten lost or forgotten in the sands of time. Most 80’s compilation albums would include songs from like “Come on Eileen” or “Take on Me”, but forget great songs both from well known bands and one-hit wonders. These are my Top 20 Forgotten Songs from the 80’s.
01. Elton John – In Neon
02. Saga – On the Loose
03. Planet P Project – Why Me?

Man, Bernie, how can someone have "favorite forgotten songs"? Isn't that like having "ten favorite disgusting moments in your private life"? Or your "ten favorite worst pick up lines by which you are deemed a loser by the opposite sex"? Geez, I tell ya, you've got sheer passion for this site. Otherwise you'd be out there helping other people with their PC's or getting 'em sound software for their systems, hehehehe. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to run across this. I'm looking for songs I loved but have forgotten! Don't pay the Ferryman was my favorite back in the day. But what is that last song number 21?? I remember it and love it but don't see what it is.
ReplyDeletethanks for this post!
G,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. The last song is actually #3 - Planet P Project- Why Me?... For some weird reason, blogger placed the video at the end of the post. Glad you enjoyed the post. More to come.
I like all the songs and bands.I think that every song can be in the first possition. The 80's was the best years of the music.
